CBM had a catalog

This is the first time, I have seen one. I had asked the owner for more photos but they were all in much poorer quality than this one. The thing that strikes me is that this is the same font as used on their labels.

It must date from 1973 due to the Neil Young listings. It lists the new releases in a non-chronological fashion, the earliest I can see is # 3585 (Beatles – Mary Jane and Dylan’s Help., # 3586. It shows releases all the way until # 3649 (Simon & Garfunkel), so this probably covers several months wort of releases from late 1972 up to well into the spring of 1973.
The title of the Floyd album shows a working title that would later get changed to Floyds Of London. The same seems to apply for the last partially visible title, which to my best guess was at this stage a future Rolling Stones release (Rehearsal Sessions ’72 Tour, # 3690 ?). Plenty of titles, that based on their release number should also have been released around this time aren’t mentioned.

    • As I wrote, I had asked him on FB for more posters but they were all very poor smart phone shots, you couldn’t read the text.
