Source: Supposedly from Newcastle City Hall on 14 December 1982, however, the following comment from a DP + related bands bootleg discography should make us suspicious: “It’s strange, that all the stage banter is cut out and so there is no real evidence of the place of the show.”
ETS may have done this for all their masters to not have the Japanese recordings stand out like a sore thumb with all their cuts but who knows. It would certainly be very noticeable to remove, for example Jon Lord’s introduction mentioning the city (as heard on the Osaka concert on YT).
