Side 1: Roll over Beethoven / From Me To You / I Saw Her Standing There / This Boy / All My Loving (15:19)     Side 2: I Wanna Be Your Man / Please Please Me / Till There Was You / She Loves You / I Wanna Hold Your Hand (15:34)/ Shout (from Around The Beatles TV show) (2:02)

Quality: ‘VG’ rating for the Washington D.C. tracks and a ‘G’ for the last track on side 2, substituted, so the record would not end abruptly with the incomplete version of “Twist And Shout”, as that was how the only known copy of the kinescope ended.

First appearance of a direct copy of the soundtrack of the kinescope billed as “”THE BEATLES” plus “The Beach Boys” and Lesley Gore “; also the first ever use of closed-circuit broadcasting for a rock concert.

CBM upgrading one of their older releases was certainly a rare event. In 1973, they had released this title (WEC-3795/3571):

Side 1: Roll over Beethoven / From Me To You / I Saw Her Standing There / This Boy / All My Loving / I Wanna Be Your Man / Please Please Me / Till There Was You / She Loves You / I Wanna Hold Your Hand                                                                                                                                                              Side 2: A re-issue of side 2 of Live In Europe & US TV Casts                                                                             Quality rating:  Poor mono

The source for the above LP, side 1, had been a recorder in the audience at one of these screenings, no wonder it sounded atrocious.

Wizardo copied this inferior recording in 1975, together with the Melbourne tracks they had nicked from CBM as well:

The small print at the bottom reads: DESIGNED BY MAUD’S HOUSE 6.18.75 ♂ ART DIRECTION & ILLUSTRATION: KING ♂ PASTE UP: MAD JACK ♂

**************************** Moving on to 1976 ***************************

Wizardo ended up copying the upgraded King Kong 1070 source in 1976 (but leaving off “Shout” at the end of side 2):
